| The Gattaca movie is one of the best in its category, with an intelligent plot threads of science fiction, drama, irony and the human spirit to strive and achieve against all odds. The chemistry between the two Jerome is large, with the players credible performances. The twists in the end, with Anton and the doctor are well invested in the story and highlight just the realization of genetically inferior player. Not taking anything away from the brilliance of the director, there are several curiosities in the plot as the inability to obtain prosthetic Eugene supposedly futuristic age or inhumane treatment that will be genetically inferior to people, although there is no indication that discrimination Genetics is illegal (in particular the way they are treated by police during an investigation reminiscent of Jews in the Holocaust). And travelers can expect a space not three-piece suits, while boarding spacecraft, no matter how advanced technology can be. Another point to note is the contrast between the behavior of a detective, while questioning elite employee (Eugene), when he began to apologize for a simple comment offensive and boldness, while hinting at an unapologetic indictment director Company! | This film: Gattaca is about a boy named Anton Vincent (Ethan Hawke), who was born in a world where human beings are created perfect before birth. Using genetic engineering and the doctors are able to stop the child from ever developing such as obesity, depression, violent mood swings, and even heart failure. The point is that this whole new generation of this "perfect race" not only have the opportunity to live a life free of risk. Who are all on a silver platter! The main character (Vincent) wants to be an astronaut's life. This work is only given to the "new generation" I do not want to spoil anything, so I think that is enough of a synopsis. This film: Gattaca is unbelievable! It is, without doubt, the best science fiction film: Gattaca I've ever seen. The script is smart, the characters are consistent, the story, while borrowing a few elements of previous films, is original. And then there is the movie: Gattaca score (BGM) JEEBS OH MY! WHAT A MIND! This is a nearly flawless Gattaca Sci-Fi film from start to finish. While Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman are good in their respective roles, the real winner here is Jude Law. His performance gave me goose bumps. JUDE go! |
| A fascinating story with a futuristic dystopia dire warnings, it seems strangely beautiful, with a color scheme with a yellow glow around the front of the camera. As for the movie: Gattaca itself is full of interesting ideas, and at least during the first half hour or so, these are well explored. The film, unfortunately, is lost in an assassination plot to the center, and this remains the most fascinating to explore in more detail. Even so, manages to be relatively grip, and there are more than the murder plot that's not all so good on film. Michael Nyman's music is simply beautiful, but it is exaggerated, and although on the issue of excess, the symbolism of the sea could have played a little more. The narrative is not the best, neither is Thurman's performance, but the DivX film Gattaca always manages to maintain a kind of seduction. The sets are great to watch, and Jude Law is an intriguing early action. If science fiction is not perfect, this is certainly worth a look. |
| Director Andrew Niccol of Gattaca, in my humble opinion, is at the pinnacle of DivX film Gattaca art. All aspects of production to serve the dramatic story. The retro-style art direction, writing, acting, music, lighting, and all brought to life, too chillingly, cold and without a soul a world in which the content of their genes counted for everything, while the content whether they are counted for nothing. See Ethan Hawke (Great Expectations, Hamlet) Vincent escape the relentless persecution of the authorities while pining to be on the mission to Titan, after Irene (Uma Thurman), and micro-management of their samples of Jerome (Jude Law in an impressive support turn) makes for some fascinating to see the most ever. This story illustrates the downside of the implementation of the eugenic ideal, an ideal that is not an unworthy exercise but should be approached with extreme care as the hope of seeking to dominate a kingdom once the sole domain the Divine. |
| I think this is one of the most fantastic science fiction films ever made.It is so wonderful, because it is not trying to draw our attention with its special effects (which has no special effects). The script is just what I wanted.The isolation of the "not too far future ... In Gattaca world is a "perfect man" and another type that is naturally born.And this second kind is not first class tolerated.The not even want to shake hands with the second kind. See what I mean? Fantastic.The cast is perfect, too.Especially, Ethan Hawke and Jude Law as a team are fantastic. SO I really think that we must (****/ out of four). |
| I will keep this brief. This is undoubtedly one of the best movies of all time. Script is wonderful, brilliant cinematography, actors to make a T, and the underlying message is that all humanity should take to heart, for this great DVD film Gattaca about perseverance and determination, and how a real situation in the world as it could be. 10 of 10 results. If you do not see this Gattaca movie will be committing a crime against himself. The relationship between Vincent and Gerome and his brother is brought to perfection and well developed. In the case of all the characters in this film, put a little something different to the table that will very rarely in any movie. |
| Gattaca is a disturbing vision of what the future may offer. Gattaca takes the concept of George Orwell 1984, and that pushes it further. Not only is the big brother watching, but they are genetically engineered babies and taking blood samples and urine on a daily basis to segregate the "strong" from "weak". Hitler would have been proud of what "is" America has become. Gattaca is a visually stunning film. It looks elegant and sterile, which coincides with the mechanical future is trying to present. Sometimes the Gattaca Sci-Fi film itself seems neither black nor white, or color. It is a hybrid of the two that is very modern and artistic. In general, Gattaca is a very good DVD film Gattaca that could have been great. Sometimes this movie: Gattaca dragged and left me wanting a little more action.
