| Give us a break, will you? Nobody expects a DVD film Igor like this to equality "WALL-E" or "The Iron Giant"! Granted, it rips off "The Nightmare Before Christmas" shamelessly (or any other person as I was listening to the blatant similarities between the Malaria King Malbert and "nightmare" Mayor?), And has written quite flat in points. But there are good jokes (Jaclyn / Heidi ", a" Yes Master ") - and you've got to love Eva, with the way the tradition of Frankenstein riffs. Instead of misfits who can not know how to act in a normal world, she is an evil-doing good in a kingdom of darkness. | Let's clear something in the way this time: Igor is an animated film, but not primarily for children. Children do not understand most of the jokes as the theme for most of them are aimed at older audiences. There are, however, a visual comedy that will apply to younger viewers, but overall I think this film: Igor directed adolescents and adults. People like Igor on the basis of what they expect from the film. If you expect it to be like Wall-E and other Pixar films, you will probably be disappointed. Igor has good sides and bad sides. The visuals are impressive, the setting is beautiful, with an unorthodox design. However, in some cases, as the king of malaria, it looks like a copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas' mayor, and that was disappointing. The story is not too bad, but not the best. Lacked a little depth at times, but still fun and entertaining. Igor is a good general animation film. Not the best, definitely not the worst. It's definitely worth seeing for animation fans, people like Tim Burton's work (the design of the film: Igor is similar to his style), and anyone who wants to enjoy a light story with a happy ending. |
| I took my daughters (7 and 3) to see this Igor Comedy movie today, knowing absolutely nothing to do about 5 seconds of a TV commercial. I'm usually fairly selective about what to see my children, but decided to join a friend who was going anyway. More to my daughter loves Tim Burton and this was at least stylistically similar. I thought this Igor film was a fresh sense of twisted humor, and much more original than the usual rehash hotter normally get from a lower budget CGI movie. And guess what, not a single fart joke! That means that only meets my low expectations of what passed as entertainment for children these days. Unofortunately, I think it is a bit out of outdated for the majority, so the small marketing budget, too. Nice to have a bit on the classic story of Shelley's Frankenstein. Not sure why the accusations of The Nightmare Before Christmas rip-off, Frankenstein was obviously the source material for this story. That is very good in my opinion. My daughters and I liked it a lot. |
